It's such a joy hanging around with chickens. They are so simple and busy. A rolling blueberry sends them running in excitement to see who can get at it first. My favorite chicken, Delilah, loves the spring when I'm digging in the garden and finding juicy worms for her. But she follows me around everywhere.

Oh my goodness!!! I love these chicks!!! We raised chickens when I was young and I have so many fond and funny memories of the girls!!
Yes I love the chickens! Once I got them I started painting them in my calendars. I would like to do some larger oil or acrylic paintings but I haven't found the time. Hopefully soon I'll try. Something really colorful!
