I was walking down the hill to my yoga class on the lake and saw this cute little woodchuck. He was coming at me which kind of freaked me out. Then a guy in the apartment next to the path said he was coming for treats. I guess this guy leaves treats for him every day. So he was friendly enough and a fun surprise. Doing yoga on the sailing dock in the lake is such a luscious way to start the morning. I love Burlington!

I do yoga too, and for a few years running, on the Summer Solstice, taught a free class on the beach (I live on Lake Erie) at the end of our lane. It was DIVINE. Doing it on a dock would be just as divine! The photos of Lake Champlain are stunning. Your woodchuck makes me think of my groundhogs; a juvenile one was on the step at our patio door last week! PS I also just love your colourful home!
I'm glad you love my home. It's been a lot of work but a lot of fun too. All my rooms are painted different colors also. It makes winter easier to endure.
I lived in Lakewood (oustide Cleveland) for 5 years when I was a little girls so I know Lake Erie. I have really fond memories of Rocky River Valley. My dad would take us there to skip rocks in the river and hike. I can remember it so clearly. Maybe that is why I felt a need to move up north to Vermont from Florida.
Yoga is so wonderful. I'm loving it.
